For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 198 Member | | Member Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 198 | ok guys... I had a nice sun shiny day, and the kids were playing outside so I started taking a few things off this old bolt.
well that didn't last too long cuz it is still pretty cold, and the kids got soaked. in the meantime I found these screws with a head that I don't have a tool for.
what kind of screw heads are these, and how common are the tools to remove them? (I bet ya they aren't going back in) | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 | I don't see a pic of them, But i'll bet they are the old clutch heads. used a loton the older trucks, you can get tolls for them from most any good tool supplier. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 198 Member | | Member Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 198 | you mean like mac or snap on etc. or could I pic this up from sears or some place like that?

Try your local NAPA for the screwdrivers - I doubt Sears carry them. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 198 Member | | Member Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 198 | thanks guys... I do have a Napa here so that should be a good option. actually as I got searching more sears does have some in theirs kits of bits screw drivers. I don't really want a bit set so I'm going to try to find some elsewhere. definitely going to put something in that I can find part for a little easier... | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 | I have not got any of these myself, but I think some of the online old truck places sell them too.
