on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 | I need a 2-9/16" thin wall socket to remove the axle hub so I can replace my leaky wheel cylinder. I checked at Napa, Autozone, Kragens, SnapOn Tools, Sears, HomeDepot, Lowes, Harbor Freight and a host of other tool stores. They either are out of them or doesn't carry it. Ebay has one but listing won't expire til Monday. It's a TD-1928. I was also told a TD-2437 is a 2-9/16" thin wall socket. I don't know what the difference is between the two..maybe 1/2" drive vice 3/4" drive?? Anybody know of a source that "HAS" one I can buy? BTW I checked with a couple of garage and they don't lend tools out. | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | Seon,

Try offering them an adult libation for consumption after work hours......... I borrowed a set of metric taps that way once (I had to buy a six-pack of St. Paulie Girl). What you are looking for is called a spindle-nut wrench. I have three sizes. How far are you from Sacto.?
