I am looking for the top check strap stops. I bought a nicely restored ‘53 panel and they are missing. It’s like searching for a Unicorn. Nobody seems to make them and I’m not even sure what they look like. If you find a source please
Let me know too. Thanks!!!

Corco - Might I suggest you post an ad in our Truck Parts Wanted forum??? I'm sure that one or more of our fellow Bolters that own an AD Panel would be glad to post some pictures and other identifying info to help in answering your questions. smile Welcome to Stovebolt BTW. thumbs_up

Corco, I had the correct ones, they are not straps. They also are different from the door stops on Suburbans, allowing the rear doors to open 180°.

Are you looking for the whole assembly or just the rubber stops?

Are you looking for the parts that are on the top of the door to limit the swing open? Let me know i might have a set left over from a 54 i used to have.

Corco: I have a pair of the metal ones that I got from Leo. (HI, Leo, hope you had a good Christmas. Happy New Year!)

Corco hasn't been back to visit Stovebolt since October 2024. Doesn't show any other way to contact, so we may or may not hear back from them??? Appreciate you looking out for a fellow Bolter Marty!
