I am truly sorry that I seem to be the sole service academy alumni on this site.... And with no apology whatsoever to my many friends who are Army veterans, may I express my honest sentiment that tomorrow is truly a bad day for you.

:P

Beat Army!!!!

To all of you Air Force veterans .... whatever. The Commander in chief's trophy is *not* yours. Again.

But in all seriousness, I can not wait to see the raucous welcome 47 will get from the Brigade of Midshipmen, the Corps of Cadets, their families and my fellow alumni as he, along with Speaker Johnson and our next SecDef are introduced. A glorious new day dawns!

The 125th Army-Navy begins soon. Let the battle begin, remembering that regardless of who wins, we are and remain brothers and sisters in arms to support and defend this great country.

May it ever be so! salute2

That they did Rusty. Watched the game from beginning to end and was disappointed Army struggled with turn overs and a big lack in a passing game. Navy did fight hard and earned the trophy, this year. thumbs_up

I commend them on a well played game, but would offer that the penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct kinda spoiled it a bit. Until next year. smile

Concur with Dan on the unsportsmanlike conduct -- even though Navy's first penalty was bogus, the subsequent ones were not. Very much cast a cloud over what should have been a great day. *We* are better than that. Still, at the end, I stood with the Brigade and sang *my* version of "Navy Blue and Gold" not the politically correct version in use today at the Severn School for Wayward Boys.

Loved switching to Fox to get real coverage of Trump and his entourage's welcome. Underscores just how completely unsat Biden has been in *never* attending.

Semper Fi and ...

BEAT ARMY!

My team won. Being dual service Navy and Army, my team always wins. It's good to watch both teams and enjoy the game.

Similar feelings about the Armed Forces Bowl yesterday, also being a Sooner (grad school). But man oh man, what a TD run and what a great 2nd half! The service academies may not have great teams, but they are certainly disciplined and tenacious.

Go Navy!!

That was a record breaking/making TD run. Congrats to a very hard charging young man. I salute his effort and success! salute2

Dan, My Plebe year at Navy, I was at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA for the 1983 Army game. We saw Napoleon McCallum run Army's opening kickoff back for a touchdown. It wasn't 95 yards, but it sure was exciting.
