That locking bead type is for the rear and corner glass. Windshield is different with only two grooves, one for the glass and one for the pinch weld. Check the tech tips for information.
87GN - There is a Deluxe windshield gasket style that uses that locking bead as part of the windshield gasket setup and IIRC the bead is chrome (part of the Deluxe cab optional stuff). Those can be found by searching most of our usual vendors. The gasket comments by lumbersawyer are accurate for the black locking strip in the back glass gasket and non-Deluxe windshield gaskets having only the top and bottom grooves.
FWIW, I think many folks recommend using a Steele Rubber Products windshield gasket as they seem to be of the best quality and fitment. Yes, more expensive, but IMHO ultimately a worthwhile expense for best sealing and long life.

I wouldn't buy that pictured rear and corner window gasket. They don't even know how to spell "two". A sign that it's definitely offshore manufacturer.
At least go with one of the usual vendors (Jim Carter for instance) if you can't stomach paying for Steele products.

Gdads51, Do you have a link to that chrome bead lock windshield gasket. My deluxe cab’s windshield stainless steel trim fit into the windshield rubber before the glass is installed, then set in place to rope in. I’ve never seen any different type.
lumbersawyer - Are you asking about a windshield gasket for your '47? The info above was meant for 87GN's '55 1st Series truck which is different than your '47. For your '47 (includes through '53), the link for that Steele Rubber item is Windshield Gasket 60-0169-50 for Deluxe equipment cabs.
There is a non-Deluxe style gasket that doesn't have that trim and associated extra groove under Steele Rubber Windshield Gasket 60-0083-50.
Screenshot below from a 1929-57 Chevy Master Parts Book shows the gaskets listed as w/reveal molding (GM# 3684695) or w/o reveal molding (GM# 3684802).

Gdads51, thanks for the info. I know of two more AD trucks that need help, lol. The chrome trim rubber in my 47 deluxe was not as easy to install as a normal rubber windshield without the trim, but I finessed it in.
