A few friends and I are going on Friday the 22nd. I'm picking up a roof panel for Linda's '60 C10, the Vendor agreed to include it in his show inventory . The cost of shipping I save by getting the part there is more than half the price of the part. I never leave empty handed...

Treasures from Moultrie. I spent yesterday at the Swap Meet andcame home with a load of Goodies. I found an original Tailgate and front Bed Panel, I walked away with both for $200.00. I had pre-ordered a Roof Panel for Linda's '60 C10, while at that Vendor I bought a Windshield gasket for Thor. I bought a 14 Circuit Wiring Harness for Thor, that was $85.00. I dang near tripped over a outer Cowl Panel for Linda's Truck, I was shocked when the seller said $20.00, I couldn't get the cash out fast enough. There were seller that had ridiculous prices on their items, I'm sure they took them home on Sunday.
I bought a lot of things that were just impulse buys. I collect Craftsman Tool Boxes, I found one that had been converted to a grill, $5.00 was a COOL price. I bought some wire loom, wheel center caps(for my '93 4x4), a set of precision Craftsman screwdrivers. I also collect license plates I found a tag from West Virginia for $3.00. My friend that went with me gifted me a Chevrolet AD Truck banner. And last I found an Ahh Ougha horn for my Good Friend PaPa Joe.
It was a very COOL day and we didn't even see the whole show.

Craig, that tailgate was an awesome find. I know I scoured the country (literally) looking for an original AD tailgate in decent shape. Wound up buying a repop from Mar-K.
Cool stuff.

Yes, it looks like you did good! Much better than running all over the state looking for (or at) rusted out, over priced parts (aka junk). I found a few good used parts online, but mostly just tried to watch for the best prices I could find for new stuff when I needed it.
I'm hoping to check out the swap meet at Daytona later this week. There's a lot of Family Thanksgiving things going on, so I'm not certain I'll make it.

I had a thought in the back of my head about getting a Hotel room and going back for Saturday... YEAHHHH.. Linda would have had something to say about that..

The vendors from Moultrie will move to Daytona this week for the Turkey Rod Run. If Tut's hasn't bought all the good stuff already, there should be more available.

The area is an Airport, it doubles as a Fairgrounds so it's HUGE! The gates opened at 10:00 and there people already lined up. We usually start at the gate end and make our way up one side and then the other of each row. We only made it about 3/4 the way around. The Vendors consist of Mom and Pops dealers to Name Brand Manufactures. Holley, American Racing Wheels, American Parts Group and many others were on site. I purchased the Roof Panel from Classic Parts Inc. The fall show is generally larger than the spring event, it certainly seemed bigger.
