Does anyone have a part number for a u joint for a 1946 1/2 ton? I’ve seen u joint rebuild kits on Chevsofthe40s and Jim Carter, but, prefer a new unit. Fits both 1940-47 1/2ton trucks with 3 speeds and 1940-48 Passenger car 3 speeds. If your set on an original NOS unit, check out this one I found after a search of the web. Considering both Jim Carter and Chev's of the 40's are showing them as "out-of-stock" this one should get you what you need. The asking price is not terribly much more than Jim Carters "repair kit". Hope this helps.

I need to find my yoke that fits into the torque tube and Okie bushing. I'm hoping it's in my shed, but I haven't seen it yet. I'll have to do a full search this week. Fingers crossed. (I have a 4-speed manual for my 1946 truck)
