Sorry for the bad pic with all that glare in it ....if you look closely at the middle you will see 2 spots and one off to the left towards the front.. These spots seem to be where the paint was slightly thinner (lighter in appearance) however still enough to coat fully. My inability to get my gun to spray at low pressures like the paint wants is not helping me lay it down flat. I thought I could buff it out but after trying white and orange buffing pads with cutting and polishing compounds they still will not blend. I tried a blue jean pad as well which is 3000 grit. Any advice? Was thinking about using an orbital sander with 2000 grit than 3000 and than cutting compound but afraid I am taking off too much clear at this point. Thanks as always.
What did the color look like before the clear was applied? If the issue is in the base coat, no amount of cutting the clear will fix it. You may have to sand the clear and shoot a coat of sealer and then shoot new color.

What type of conditions did you apply the finishes? high humidity, temperature over or under the recommended limits, moisture in the compressed air, reducer too fast. I'm just suggesting a few things that could affect the outcome.
