Have a question on the wiper motor on a 1957 Chevy suburban. The wiper will not go to the park position and shut off. Is it in the motor itself or the cable control switch.

Is your wiper motor vacuum or electric powered? Both were available for 1957. The answer you seek will be different depending on which motor is involved. More info please. smile

I suspect it is in the motor switch section, inside the motor. The shop manual goes into much detail on the electric wiper motor.

I forgot to state that it's electric. I finally located my shop manual and it does go into alot of detail. Will have to pull the motor out and hopefully it's a minor adjustment. Thanks for the input.
