Can anyone tell me if the emergency brake cables to the backing plates are the same for this Van as the 3/4 ton cables ?? I can’t find anything that references a 1 ton. Thanks, Dennis

Not the same as 3/4 ton. The Parts list doesn't differentiate between truck styles, just capacity. See the attached listing for Part code 4.826. It does show the overall length. The 1 ton probably isn't available as repops. You may have to fabricate one if the sheath is still usable. I think kits might be available with the inner cable and ends.

Dennis, The Filling Station offers a reproduction DS-600 1Ton Park Brake Cable that the description indicates replaces the original GM# 3697395 unit mentioned by Kevin above. Or you could repair your existing ones (if able) using the Filling Station AF-212 Universal Repair Kit. smile
