I am restoring my 37 GMC pickup. The original engine was a flat head straight 6. The engine in it now has a Chevy 1946 216ci straight 6. Does anyone know what I need to use for the rear motor mounts? Is there conversion motor mounts?

Your question is confusing. If the engine is already in the truck, why are you asking about conversion motor mounts?

Flathead was probably an Olds.

Is the Chevy engine in the truck? The Olds L=head engine had bell housing motor mounts, where are the rear motor mounts on the chevy engine?

My 37 GMC, someone in the past replaced the original motor with a 1946 chevy 216 motor. The motor mounts were homemade welded angle iron. The 46 motor mount position do not line up with the 37 GMC T14A frame mounts. The 46 chevy engine does not just drop in and bolt up? I cant find any info on either engine or frame rear motor mount location.

Here are the rear motor mounts for my 1936 GMC, the 1937 was the same. These have since been replaced with rebuilt motor mounts
