We finally tracked the problem down, and the site is up and running again. We apologize for the lengthy time offline. The issues were quite difficult to resolve and took quite some time to troubleshoot.

Please report any issues that you uncover while using the site. As you can see. some things are missing that will have to be restored. We will be working on those over the coming days.

Please note. I have debugging enabled so that we can uncover any issues with the software. If you try to do something and you get an error, please copy and paste the error into an email and send it to me at geek@stovebolt.com. That will help me stamp out any remaining bugs. If you try to reply to a post or post a new thread and you get an error, click on the back arrow in your browser, and you will see that the reply or post was made successfully. The way to fix this is to delete your cookies. If that doesn't work, you will need to delete all the data your browser has retained about the Stovebolt site.

I will provide screenshots below, but here are the instructions.

To delete your cookies, click on your Display Name (in the upper right-hand corner of the screen) That will expand a dropdown menu. Select cookies. Then click on Expire Cookies.

To delete all data for Stovebolt, click on Settings in your browser. Then select Privacy, Manage Website Data (or something analogous to that), search for Stovebolt, and then delete all.

Both deleting cookies and deleting all data for Stovebolt will log you out. So, once you've completed that step, log back in. You should no longer see the issue with an error when posting or replying.

If you have any questions, post them here and either I or the moderators will answer you. If you see an error message, send that to me in email.
