Its a 216 car engine the original pushrod has a slice on the mushroom end i guess to let air out of the lifter. Most of the 216 rods I've got are a different length than the 235 rods, though. You might want to make sure. You can straighten the bent one if you have an anvil or a good vise. I've done that before. It isn't easy to get it perfect but patience helps. Good luck!

It has no business being in a 216. Do the rest of the pushrod have the same feature? Check the block casting numbers and make sure you don't actually have a juice cam 235 in there.
