I've installed new vent window assemblies and side windows on my 56 stepside. Actually two or three times. When complete both side are extremely hard to roll up or down. Down is a bit easier than up. I did switch from the painted vent window trim to the chrome version which is a little thicked. How likely is it that the thickness is the problem?

PS the new vent windows are a lousy fit.

Mickey, Since your topic is the windows in your doors, I think it fits best in the Doors sub-forum in the Paint and Body Shop. It's been moved there to get you the best on topic help and answers. smile
