For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 35 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 35 | 1st question: In 1947 (new design) what models did Chevy produce larger than the 1 ton? 2nd question: has anyone shortened a 1 1/2 or 2 ton and put a pickup bed on it? 3rd question: do these larger trucks share any parts with the 1/2 3/4 and 1 ton models?
I am looking at a 1947 this week that from the pictures looks very clean and complete. If I can get some background info first would help me make up my mind. All I know now is it is 1947, bigger than a 1 ton and has a flatbed on it. It has been sleeping in a barn for the last 35 years. I posted a similar question in the wrong section earlier and got no response. Thanks. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 35 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 35 | Never mind, I found most of what I needed to know already posted. I will limit my future posts to topics not covered elsewhere. | | |
