I am closing up holes in toe board and firewall that I know I do not need... for example, replacing parking brake with ebrake, replacing high bean/low/beam with facilities on steering column, clutch and brake pedals are firewall mounted and thus, I can close the toe board holes for them, electronic accelerator pedal for LS3, etc

Soooo please take a look at the passenger side firewall in the enlcosed picture... if I am installing Vintage Air, can anyone give me insight into the holes that I should keep for Vintage Air? Any holes that you know for sure I can close up?
Thanks

Not knowing how the Vintage Air mounts it would be hard to tell you which holes you need to keep.
But check out FAM Section 1, Sheet 3.19, for the use of each hole that's there. If you're not using either the fresh air or recirculating heater holes, then those could safely be closed up. For the big hole for the fresh air heater motor, you could either use the stock cover plate that's there for the recirculating heater or weld it up with a piece of sheet metal and finish it smooth.

I'm not a fan of Vintage Air. Old Air Products uses the large round hole (gives you a neat grommet for it) and then also uses another hole to the right. Image attached of the last one I was installing. Good luck!

Edit...also Old Air Products gives you a block-off plate for the fresh air hole if you need it...along with very good instructions.

I know there is a good joke in here somewhere, but I can't find it in this heat.

That said, if you didn't already buy the Vintage Air system, I second the recommendation to look into the Old Air Products setup.

If you do have the Vintage Air unit already, I vaguely recall their instructions having a full size drill template that you could hold up and see which (if any) holes line up.
