I helped a couppe buddies on projects this morning, then decided that a little heat wasn't going to stop me from making progress on the truck.

The fuel tank had been sitting in the bed overnight and this morning while I did other things. I went over and grabbed it real good and it shocked me how hot it was from being in the sun.

Between solar loading and stagnant air, things get hotter than you think.

In the time it took me to dig my tools out, my fingertips had blistered from the tank.

Needless to say, the heat did stop me from making progress. I took my daughter swimming instead.

Unfortunately it is about $2500 for the cheap seats to make a run up there with the family. I am pretty sure I wouls get disowned if I went by myself.

It was overcast yesterday so I managed to get the tank in. Woo!
