I'm putting my truck back together, and we're ready for the interior. My heater was duct taped, and barely installed (this is a picture from the internet of my exact heater, as well as the name given on eBay (because I wasn't sure exactly what it was called)). I'm converting from 6v to 12v, and was hoping that someone would be kind enough to send me a picture of their Arvin heater on the firewall side, and in the cab... Either/or would be fine. I just need something to go by for mounting it. TIA!

That is a strange position for the heater hoses. I am used to the heater lines entering the engine bay. I hope someone can clear up the mounting for you.

Ya, Bruno's going to need to have "L" fittings soldered to that heater core.

Actually, I just noticed the threads. You can probably cobble together some threaded brass/bronze elbow fittings to go through the firewall. Don't use rubber hoses until you get under the hood.

My ‘37 has a different model of Arvin heater, but just for the information, Grainger carries a 12v motor that had the same specs, Mounting bolt spacing, shaft size and length etc. My 6v motor was a goner so this worked great.
