I'm ready to start on my wiring harness, but I was looking for ideas as to where to place/hide it under the dash. It's the original set-up not a LS swap. Thank you in advance!

Edited to add that it's a 14 circuit harness, and I'm swapping my truck from a 6 volt to a 12 volt.

Kind of depends on which wiring harness you're using. An original type is pretty much self-explanatory in which case you probably wouldn't have asked. So I'll hazard a guess that you're going to use something with a fuse block like the Speedway 12 circuit deal. I put the fuse block for one of those centered with the bottom corners just touching the X stamped into the firewall on the drivers side. That puts it high enough to be out of sight and low enough to reach the fuses.

Thank you for the reply, Wheelie. It's a "10411 Universal Wiring Harness". 14 circuit with fuse block. I was hoping to put it around the place where modern ones are...kind of the driver's knees, under the dash. Someone had recommended putting it on the front side of the firewall. I'm just looking for the best option.
