Okay, well the radiator didn't like the hibernation and is leaking everywhere. I was quoted $500 to recore what I have. Anyone have any ideas?

Find a differant shop, I had a recore done for $250.

BGR Radiator will recore with the original honeycomb for about half that price:

Since you have to UPS it somewhere, what's the difference if it goes to Roanoke or Connecticut?

I've had VERY good luck with these guys and have used them three times in the last five years for recores/rebuilds/cleaning/rodding out on.
