Freebies Forum. We have a few guidelines for using this board effectively.
Things to ponder before posting and to help managing your posts:1. Put the basic info into the "Title" and then all the details in the body of your post. Be specific about what you are wanting to give away. NOTE: Items being offered as "Freebies" are still considered "Freebies", even when the poster requests shipping costs be paid as part of the giveaway.
2. When you close your giveaway "deal" (or decide to remove the ad for any reason), please post a "reply" with the updated information.
3. If you decide to change your ad details please edit your ad by posting a "reply" showing everyone what has changed (may help your prospects). Note: A reply changing your ad counts for keeping your ad active.
Something to ponder for those replying to posts:1. Keep your reply directed to the original poster (OP) as it relates to their post, keeping the thread on-topic. Feel free to ask questions or offer info that will enhance the discussion in the thread.
2. If you are going to reply to the original poster (as a courtesy) about something related to their ad you saw elsewhere, such as another Bolter's ad in the Swap Meet where what is being offered is wanted, please post the link so they can see what you are referring to.
Remember your ads normally only stay up for around 30 days (from most recent reply date - No "Bumping" allowed). If you want to keep your ad active after that time, please post a new ad.
