HOW TO REPORT A POST (FLAG)

Common reasons a post may need to be reported:

  • Someone posted in a forum and the post needs to be moved to the appropriate forum.
  • Unwanted commercial postings (SPAM).
  • People behaving badly. See Forum Rules.
  • A thread veering way off topic or devolving into unrelated "chit-chat. (Subjective)

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.

Wanted to move this up since I refer to it often! Might help a few newbies who haven't been down here for awhile ... or just not yet. Busy with wrenching ya know.

Bumping this up to the top.

Just a reminder that reporting a post (flag) is very helpful to us in making sure posts / questions get in the best forum for a response. The flag only goes to that forum Moderator, the Global Moderators, and the Admin. You may get a response from any of these Mods just to let you know how your flag was handled.

Another reason is for us to assure good order and discipline on the site. The flags go immediately to the Mods, and they handle them as soon as they can.

Thanks
