Where are some websites that cater to 1934 Chevy 1 1/2 tons. I see alot of websites that deal in 1936 and newer 1/2 tons but but I'm looking for BIG BOLTS.

Don't believe everything you read on that web sight there is a lot of wrong information on it. I don't have a web site, but I know of or have access to most of the information on 34 & 35 Chevrolet trucks, including over 500 pictures of new and used ones and I have most all the Chevrolet literature produced.

I was wondering if he'd been given the info or not. Could be a good site for Early Chevs if it had dependable info. I'm always looking for specs for my '36.

I have bought some manuals but could use any info given.

Were you planning on make a web site sometime soon?

Yes your on the way but still have a long way to go. You need the 34-35 Service News Bulletins, Chevrolet Service Information 1934 Cars & Trucks, 1934 Chevrolet Master/trucks Engineering Dept. Specifications (S-1932), I also see you don't have a "Golden Book of Trucks" for either 34 or 35 (It has the color chips in the back as well as all the features. There are two small books; Announcing the 1934 Chevrolet half ton and 1.5 ton trucks (in black & white) and the later Chevrolet half-ton & 1.5 ton trucks in color. Chevrolet also sent out many mailers.

Other publications are Flat Rate Time Limits for repairing Chevrolet passenger and commerical cars, Special Equipment for Chevrolet Trucks (approved non-GM body and component suppliers), Genuine Chevrolet Accessories for 34 and for 35, Kent-Moore special tools. Plus there are Special Service Bulletins, Chevrolet Service Bulletins, Chevrolet Partsd and Accessories Merchandising Bulletins, Two-day Mechanical School books. The list goes on and as you can see it would be a major undertaking to copy all of these.

thanks for the replies guys. I'd be interested in the paint chip colors. It would be nice to find the exact match for the original blue that is on my truck. I notice a hint fo green in the cab also. Almost like a green paint drip on a black dash....not sure what thats from. 35 trucker, do you have a way you can send me this info?
Thanks
Tim

There was only one blue for 1934 trucks Chevrolet code T-140 Boatswain Blue (dark blue). This blue was used on all the later 30's and 40's trucks. Inside color was DuPont code 93 a light green (matches Apple Green exterior color). Apple Green color use recent "Volvo" car color code 118 light green Brand code 45094. I have the formula for PPG Concept (DCC). E-mail me with your US Postal address and I can send you a copy along with pictures of interior.
