From the 1957 Chevy Truck data file the below snapshot lists the fender emblems used "Insignia Red" and the hood emblem used "Dull Black". I haven't been able to correlate that info to any specific paint codes. Perhaps another Bolter has that info???

Unfortunately, what Dan found is about the only thing available on trim paints. Testors (the model paint guys) have an "Insignia Red", which appears to be a "standard" color like the Federal Safety colors. If you can't find someone who can match it for you, that would probably be "close enough." The only way someone could tell if it's wrong is if you parked next to an original truck, and that would probably be faded. Can't help much on the "Dull Black". You've probably seen that there are about a hundred or more black shades, and gloss levels.

I interpret dull black to mean satin black - low sheen, not gloss.

Although it doesn't call out colors by "useful name", This looks to be a great option for emblem paint. (I got lucky because the 54 front emblem calls for vermillion and they have that) https://www.1shot.com/One-Shot/colors/Lettering-Enamels.aspx
I have used 1Shot on external gauge needles on a GM truck to match the factory color. Great stuff. You can mix their different colors to get what shade you want.
