Yay!!! I got my head back and now all I have to do is get my reman short block finished. (Hint, Hint Hint) Just fooling, Jerry. $615 for a head and valve job. But it looks purty. Not painted yet. Think I'll wait to get the block back and paint all at the same time.

Sorry, Peggy. Yes, Fannin, had the head resurfaced, valve job and refaced rocker arm & assembled. Just down the street from me. So was not allowed to take pictures.

I guess everybody deserves time off, especially at his age. And he did say it would be three or four months. In the mean time I got my door hinges torn apart, sandblasted and primed and it isn't as if I don't have a bunch of other stuff to do. Like 52Carl said "Any progress is winning" which I misread and thought he said something else. PLUS, THANKS to everyone who helped with transport, engine removal and clip removal, I've got more done in the last month than was done in the last eight years. So, that really is progression!!!!!!!
