May 18, noon to 4 at the Pecan Grove Store. Live music, BBQ and burgers. "Supporting our local food bank", so I assume an entry fee. I'll call them tomorrow and get details. I'll be there unless SWMBO comes up with a better idea.
It is a pretty place about 5 miles north of Fredericksburg on State Highway 16. It'll be at the first black and white early 50s Hudson highway patrol car you see.

I know a few guys from NB/SA are heading up. I won’t be able to attend due to son taking a hunters safety course in Austin and Daughters Bday party. Please take pictures!
I called the Pecan Grove Store this afternoon, but the lady that answered the phone had no details. She recommend looking at the store's Facebook Page. I don't do Facebook.

Bill, what a fascinating link to the store!! The initial image was kinda quaint and I wanted to get a screen shot to go with your thread, with a comment. I've got a better comment than that now. When I clicked on the image to take the screen shot, the image (visual) moved. It was sooo cool! Like you're driving down the road past the store! You "pass" other vehicles. It's like you are operating a drone. That's amazing. That would be so neat to have that tech at an event, or a cruise, or convoy. Fat chance. Since I couldn't get a screen shot, I did the not-as-easy "print screen" to capture this image of the store and the area. The rest of the flavor for the "area," you'll have to get from Bill's link to the store.

There is a little creek that runs parallel to the highway, but back behind the store. The "show area" is in a grove of mature pecan trees that ends at the creek, hence the name. My "picture" is just a link to a street view of the store in Google Maps, which is why you can navigate up and down the street

That is a true skill. We are anxious to get the drone footage from AmtrakJoe taken at the Wrenchfest last month. Joe used his drone for THIS SHOT that's on the Home page.
