In keeping with my current project and the research I'm doing, I happened upon this site. It's an SKF web site that allows you to find seals either by dimension, part number or interchange. I was able to locate a front grease seal for "Thor" that will work with the tapered roller bearings I'm installing. Please take a minute and browse this site.

Definitely good news- - - -that site comes up with three seals suitable to do the "one piece rear oil seal" modification to the back of the block- - - - -all different than the one I've been using- - - -3.875" X 4.751" X 0.375".
