The one on the left looks like an aftermarket replacement part. Original pushrods usually had a more ball-shaped lower end.

The rocker arm's adjuster ball diameter is 11/32" (.344"), an unusual size, for all pushrods, and the pushrod cup must exactly match. A smaller ball (5/16") will leave a wear ring part way down the cups inner surface.
The one on the left was the rod that was slightly bent. I replaced it with the one on the right and adjusted to the specs found on here. It's a 38. It started and runs good. This engine makes more clatter sound than my 49 does but runs well. When I get a free day I'm going to run it and adjust after it is hot.
