We came with the 1941 and had Jerry diagnose it. Rod knock, back to my shop a few miles down the road and into the lift. Only to find out the crank is worn on #6. So this 216 will bd coming out for a rebuild. He’s some pictures of the process.

Indeed! My lament also. And "we" are working on that. However, we also have a serious delay factor. John is "hands on" with this stuff. AAMOF, John sent in a great "man on the scene" report late yesterday which is a neat story. Fannin reported a bit of it. It was one of three "crews" sent out. But ... need pictures, too. I see there are plenty in my email inbox this morning, so stay tuned. Today will be the busiest day out there; and I'm just getting started here at HQ. We'll have "not-so-breaking news" as soon as we can pull it in ... lights, cameras, and action.

John emailed a bunch of pictures early this morning. I know some of these trucks (oh, and the people ) but not all (or they look different?? Older maybe. LOL) But at least I can send you this one as a teaser. More Bolters are on their way.
And speaking of images, we're certain AmtrakJoe will have tons, plus video and overheads with the drone. John will be busy with those when he gets back home. For me, making a Wrenchfest '24 poster will be a lot of fun.

Tim, we'll have a general head-count by noon today (Saturday). Some are coming and going but John does his best to get a reckoning before or after the "big dinner." This picture is from the Home page. With Joe's drone, they'll stage something neat again this year, I imagine. By the water? Near the fields? Around the garage work area? So many choices.

Well, I can't take it any more. I cropped and re-sized the pictures I've gotten so far from John. AND I see from Who's on Line that folks are looking for the pictures. So, I'm gonna put them in here and come back later and re-do when I get some titles, names, truck info and the like. I'll at least add the names that I know. These are fun.

As stated earlier, that cruise from Robert's video ... there's a great photo of the fellas coming in for a visit here at HQ. It was a real treat. That photo will be released soon. A little late posting my two pictures, but here's a picture of Stewart's truck BEFORE it was extracted and a picture of Jim, Billy and Stewart trying to diagnose why Billy's truck won't start at Stewart's house...he had to be rescued as well...

By the way, once again, the 1-ton Mafia RULES!!! 5 1-tons in attendance (Beats the record set in Kansas City ) 3 3804's (John M, Billy Marlow and Jim Schmidt), one 3809 (Amtrakjoe) and one 1310 (Cornbolt dumper of Miss Peggy's). Versus only 5 half tons (Stewart, Carl, Jethro, Mike B and Sweet).
On the face of it, it might seem a tie. HOWEVER ... Miss Peggy, being a 1-ton owner in her own right ... Any of *you* want to call her out???

Here’s after cutting Stewart’s radiator support with my plasma cutter. This thing was thick, I think it may have been a railroad track 😜
