Some folks with cell phones (and maybe others) can not see the corner on the left, So we thought we'd also post here the News that appears in that top left corner. They come at a regular basis. Other new items (Admin stuff) are posted here in N&A as you may have found out.

I added the series of Stovebolts that made it into the corner as this News piece made the rounds.

I've switched the image to Wally's "Wally / Montana" 1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet. (As I continue to change the image, I'll add them to the "poster" above.)

In searching for something from the old News pages, I came across a great photo in the December 2004 edition. Here's the story that goes with the image:

Bob has since sold his "Big Ol' Honkin' Farm truck" to a landscape business in San Francisco. So, the old Stovebolt is still working!
Thought this would make a good word picture for the new Search feature on the menu bar (see story below). Remember those comments " ... like finding a Stovebolt in a snow storm?" This must have been where that saying originated!

"In2deep" - you have a two or three car garage with one truck in it. Whole or in pieces. Read more and add yours.

That News corner was inspired by Dave in Northern Kentucky's post:

FIX IT The Shop Area continues to be the bulk of the forum site traffic. Add Project Journalsand the Parking Lot, you have plenty of places to look for help. Over 29,400 views in March.
DRIVE IT Besides the Stovebolt Driving Report in General Truck Talk, there are a bunch of activities in the Side Lot with a more local flavor.
A "virtual garage" indeed but more than that. Think about Find-Fix-Drive with one of the get togethers (GABfest) in an area close to you. They are lining up the season in Side Lot forums - from East to West.
====================== Some more details on the Swap Meet. It has become more than a post-and-leave-it area, like a bulletin board might be. And just wait. It has many of the back and forth discussions you'd see at a live Swap Meet. Lots of good discussions, helpful advise, sources for locating wanted item, work around ideas shared, and more. Not really shopping? Go look anyway. Never know what *knowledge* YOU can share -- or learn.

This was a fun one, and short. Just wanted to announce Spring on March 19. We had to edit the Corner before 11pm since many of the country was still having that white stuff. Like the little ditty said: "... hard to squash the feeling of winter ..." Ya don't say.

"For us, that doesn't necessarily mean flowers, landscaping and grass. It means CRUISE-INS, SWAP MEETS, STOVEBOLT GATHERINGS! And being able to work like gangbusters on the old 'Bolt!
"It also means SHOW TIME! Events, large and small, are kicking off the new show season. Some are in the planning stages for the bigger gatherings. Be sure to check in at a Side Lot near you, or even just one you are interested in. " (Continued HERE. In that thread, we had some input ... snowput ... with pictures.
Maybe by the Memorial Day announcement, we'll not have snow.
Just a reminder. We have this here for the folks who can't see the left column on their cell phones. You CAN see it but you have to be in landscape mode.

STOVEBOLTING! Gangs worth the price. FREE!
The regions in the Side Lot have posted many events that cover most roaming areas. Check in and check back often.

From the News Corner. Wanted to get this "poster" up there because I'm about to put in some new info since first image has come in. The one link from the poster, goes HERE for the details for the event. The second link goes HERE which is a link to the Side Lot.
The second poster, is added in here Saturday evening. I wanted to get a third poster going. TUTS said he'll get a HOT WASH up as soon as he gets home. We'll hold off for that one.

A little late from News Corner for those who don't get it in their window (phone view). Late because of problems we were having with the email and server.
HERE IS the link that goes with the "flyer." Deals & Discounts.

Catching up on last two News Corner posts. The reason we do this is because some folks don't get the column in their view (cell phones). Speaking of cell phone views: did you know on a cell view, the signature lines are not seen. This is a shame since with some Bolters, there is some important info in their signature line.
First: See Something / Say Something. Link to this post in the Bus. "Strange things happened last week. Possibly some things you didn't realize. Or some of you did."
Second: A shout out to our Canadian Bolters: Happy Birthday Canada. Invitation to salute them was included in this section.

Here's what's in the News Corner today. And HERE IS that link to "post stories, pictures, thoughts"!
Remember, this is for the folks who can't see that column in their cell phone view -- not only registered Bolters but those others peaking in!

Here's the current News Corner spot that appears in the top left corner. This is just a reminder we are posting it here since cell phones (and maybe others) can not see anything in the left column. Seems more and more folks are entering our "virtual garage" via their phones.
This one is from July 8 and is still there (7/31).
