Moultrie Automotive Swap Meet, April 4 - 6, Moultrie GA. There are always plenty of vendors and individual sellers at this swap meet. I draws a large crowd and has a lot to offer. I will be going on Friday, I have a shopping list of parts for the "60 C10 as well as Ernest and Thor.

The Moultrie Swap Meet is this weekend. Some friends and I are going on Friday, we're taking an empty trailer. There is always a great turnout for the Spring event, lots on individual sellers as well as Vendors. There is also a car corral that always has a great selection of other peoples projects. I have the parts wagon prepped and ready, a pocket full of cash (1's, 5's and 20's). I'm sure I'll find that "one thing" I just can't live without. thumbs_up

you should gather the list from parts wanted. and if you see some post/pm contact the "wanter" and maybe you can get a finders fee. smile and help a bolter out.

I will look for anything parts wise that anyone may need. Just forward me a list and I'll see what can be found.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I got the impression that hcb200 was thinking you'd get info from the Swap Meet, Truck Parts Wanted section and respond to those OPs ("wanter" wink ) if you saw something at the event. Not sure how many of the larger Stovebolt Collective will be lingering in the SoBo Side Lot. Some Bolters looks mainly in The Shops areas, and then to the SM when there is a need.

Thats what I was thinking. just make a list of who wants what. and it you see it you can let them know with a PM on what you found and how much.

Excellent idea about the screenshot! Ever since I learned how to do that, I am using it all the time (even for notes - saves a lot of explaining wink ). Easily have the phone handy at the event to post some, "You mean something like this?" in the thread. Can even get the buyer involved with the Bolter. Definitely worth a "handler's fee" ... grin

Well folks we went, we saw, and came back broke. Linda and I purchased just about everything we needed for the '60. We found an aluminum radiator, 6 lug front disc brake conversion, and a trailer load off patch panels.

Of course I got to plunder in other people's junk. I found a Rochester B that I believe may be a 261 carburetor. I did a little research and brought it home for $20.00. I picked up a couple of horns, both work and have a great tone, $5.00 each.

I found another vintage Craftsman tool box ( that makes 10 or 12), this one was full of soldering tools and supplies, $20.00.

I was able to stock up on expendables, sandpaper, cutoff wheels, zip ties.

Had a great day all in all. thumbs_up

Craig -- Let's talk about that carburetor. I will make it worth your while if its the one I seek. If not, I will kill you, skin you and eat you.

I haven't identified the carb as yet. I'm going to get some numbers off of it and measure the venturi and anything else that unique to the 261 carb. At some point I'll ask Carbking for some help. I am still waiting for the friend I bought the 261 from to find the carb that was on the engine. More to follow.
