So after the 5 speed install without cable drive I didn't have speedometer anymore so I got a cheap digital gps. Worked great but ran across a gps gauge style. I had already changed out the bad original so just had to swap out and hook up 3 wires. Seems to be working so far and keeps track of milage. $55

Do you have a high beam indicator light?

No the reviews on the turn signal and high beam indicator speedo were not good. So just went with speedo/ odometer. So far working great. Instant connection.

Those look really nice. I drive my ol truck so like correct info. I ran out of fuel today. Guess my float is set to low because 1/4 was empty. Luckily my buddy was available to bring some fuel to me. Just something else to tinker with.

I didn’t realize how affordable these have become. There’s one on Amazon for like $15 with good reviews. Be kinda handy if you’re mechanical one is off or non functional

Do you have the old fuel gauge or new? Three "Hash" marks ?
The old one is Full ,Half ,Empty. No 3/4 No 1/4.
When I first got my truck I thought I had a "1/4" tank of gas and ran out one block away from home. When it died I could see in the glass filter it had No gas.
Just food for thought.

I'm putting in a Dakota Digital HDX for my 53 3100. I have a Frankland Quick Change rear end with 128 gear ratio possibilities and a TKO 600. It would never be right. As a bonus it records 0-60 mph, 1/8 and 1/4 mile times. They got this GPS down. I think mine updates hundreds or thousands of times a second. It's a lot. Mine has a memory if it loses signal. I have both gauges. They blue tooth to your phone so that when your sticking your head under the hood trying to figure out what that darn noise is you can see what your gauges are reading. They were pricey but worth saving up for my situation.

Got one of the $15 amazon speedos. Best thing:it's DEAD SIMPLE, with no adjustments or setup of any kind. MPH only. Worst thing: it reads 1 to 2 mph too fast. Would be nice to find one perfectly accurate without being complicated (which doesn't take much with a brain as small as mine).

You saw the one I'm working on, yes? Turn signal indicators, high beam, etc.

How large it is? I was wondering if I could hide it in the ash tray with some mods to the tray.

Some of the ones I've seen on Amazon would be able to be mounted into a fiberglass radio blank-out plate but I'd have to get a friend to help with a CNC program for the cutout (I have a different CNC router machine and it uses software I haven't learned well enough yet). I think it just depends on what you want it to look like and where you want it to be located. But you need to read the specs before you buy. A friend bought one of these for a Jeep and thought it would be a good answer but it works only on 5v dc input so he had to also purchase a power supply. Just saying you might check the power input specs...he didn't and also didn't realize I could make him a dc-dc converter. If you go that route, let me know if it is 5v only. Most of the ones I've seen are.

Mine was 5 volt. I got a little adapter for $3 and mounted it in a pill bottle so I just zip tied under the dash. Ran on 6 volt system worked fine.

That's what I want for my radio. Been looking at boat radio but there usually round and bigger. That would be perfect I just listen to one station. I'm old the news and weather is all I need.

These are made just for the AD pickups...at least at this point in time. They'll be available as soon as I finish work on a couple of details. They'll have FM, MP3 and bluetooth so you could play podcasts (and since I'm also old I don't do podcasts, but I appreciate that some folks love them) or answer the phone using the radio (which works well).

Where did you get the unit if I may ask. I can probably figure out a mounting process.

Overall is 2 1/8"x 3 1/8" Held on with some command strips. It's very temporary and I don't like it, but it works if ya don't mind subtracting 1.5-2 mph off the displayed speed every time. Plugs into the 12v cigarette lighter socket, so there's no wiring to do.

Breezy, please look over in the radio section. This project began around 2021 and there's already been a bunch of work done on making it look as natural as possible in the AD dash. Other members have been helpful and have been involved in the process. This like any other AD project I do will only be available here and will be kept as affordable as possible.

The radio/MP3/Bluetooth unit is one I imported from China. The folks who made it ended up following my suggestion and added higher wattage amplifier circuitry, but I'm not certain they are still selling the one I amended for them to the public. The fellow I work with said they would probably reduce from 40 watt dual channel to 25 watt dual channel as chips were becoming hard to source. I got the prototype for this about 3 or 4 years ago and imported most of them around a year and a half to two years ago. They didn't add an on/off switch as I wanted but I've designed what I think will be a neat one. It just isn't necessarily easy to make.
