Every so many years I seem to ask this same question so here it goes for the final time.
I have a 1966 Chevy C60 grain truck that I worked on rebuilding for years. Like many of us, life got in the way so it sat unused being ravaged by time and the elements. It was almost a finished rebuild but a spun bearing in the engine brought it all to an end.The accelerator stuck!!!
The truck is complete with a 292, SM420, 2 speed rear end and was converted to regular wheel rims and new 22” tires. It has a twin hoist flatbed as well.
My quandary is, should I try to sell it whole(is there even a market for it), part it out, or call the junk man to haul it away for scrap value?
There are some pretty smart folks on this site. What do you think is my best option in today’s Stovebolt market?
Thanks.

Based on my observations over the past few years, the market for the bigger trucks is quite limited. They are cool looking, but you just don’t get a daily driver out of the deal.
Listing here on Stovebolt is worth a try. There is also Facebook Marketplace. If I were in your shoes I’d list the truck while having a timeline in place for option B, that being bite the bullet and haul it to salvage. Having the old iron sitting idle and deteriorating for prolonged periods is sad and depressing.
On the bright side, I got $300 for a rusted out 35 year old Toyota recently, so at least there is salvage value.
Sell it. Even if you only get $100 for it, it's $100 you didn't have before.

The tires have value in them if they are not too old. Not sure when you bought them. I would think you could sell some parts as well and get more than the scrap price.

Don't scrap it, when they're gone they're gone for good. I would list it, even not running it has value in that it's complete.
I have a friend that recently bought a 70 International Loadstar for $500.00. I was running barely, but wasnowhere as complete as your Truck. Start around $2000.00, you can always go down.

How wide (and long) a trailer would it take to haul it, if the outboard rear wheels were removed? How long is the bed? I might be interested in the whole rig. Drop me a PM. I'm in south central Tennessee, about 65 miles below Nashville. Jerry

Just my $.02 worth but I would take a shot at selling. Definitely post an ad in the Trucks For Sale forum. You can post all the details and as many pictures as you like to help folks get to know what you have and perhaps make a deal.
As Waveski said, Facebook Marketplace is also a good popular venue that could find a buyer.
If you don’t sell it intact, you can always switch gears and offer to part it out later.
