I am looking for someone with a 1941-46 Chevy COE. I would like some specific photos. If you would be willing to send me photos, PM me and I will give you my email address.

What I want is a closeup of the junction of the fender the cowl and the grill, either side. Every picture I find online has this area obscured by the headlight .

Dave

GM Heritage archive - Vehicle Information Kits - scroll through and find the 1941-46 model year documents.

Edit by Peggy M. This is not really a repeat to Dave's first post. I added it from here to Dave's first post so folks just coming into this discussion can get a better idea of what photo(s) he's after. Especially note in the first post, Dave said to PM him in order to get his email address so you can send the images to him. PMs do not allow for images - unless you have a link to an image.

Dave, I renamed your title and let's see if that helps in here. (I'm gonna remove all the other stuff that wasn't what you were looking for.)

Dave, Check through the slew of pictures of this previously sold 1946 COE. I saw a number of pics specifically focused on the area around the fenders/grille/hood that got in around the headlights. All credit to the original poster! Maybe helpful??? I have other screenshots snapped from other web found pics and videos if you need more. wink

Send member Bill Marlow a PM. He has a restored '46 COE and might be able to answer your questions...
