I can't say that I know of a shop, but I saw someone post that you can get split rims mounted at truck stops. Apparently split rims aren't that uncommon among the "over the road" crowd. Have you checked such a place?

Good luck!

Sounds reasonable, I think it is about the same here.

Sounds like you have found the place 48Loadmasterguy. I was gonna say that if you can't find anyone, there is a tire shop here in Jarrell that will do my tires on the '46.

Are your rims really "split rims?" My front tires have the outer ring, but the rims are not plit down the middle. I would be inclined to replace something that is really out of date like a split rim.

Up here, tire shops are not allowed by law to service split rims.

$25.00/$35.00!??!? Good grief... I'll stay in NE! I get mine (Dodge Power Wagons) done locally here at the Farmers COOP (cage and all safety equipment) for about $7.00 dismount and $7.00 to mount. Truck stops around here do it too, but they're always so busy I take mine to a small town COOP.

As Mr. Foster asks - are they split-rings or are they more like a lock-ring with split rims? All are old school and can be dangerous, so check with the local truck stops that offer those services to the BIG guys.
