Rover Dan, Erik and I will most likely be attending if anyone else would like to join us there. Starts at 0900.
Laurel Grove is the one where Hobby Lobby and Harbor Freight are located.

Eddie and I had that convo the other day ... Too many laurel groves, laurel glens, laurel hills, laurel bays, Laurel valleys, laurel ridges, laurel this and laurel thats in St Mary's County.
Laurel WhatEVUR
The County Commissioners have an approved list developers have to pick names from. Developments and shopping centers always have two-word names. The first word list is
Maple, Holly, Bay, Laurel, Chesapeake, Oak, Breton, Patuxent, Potomac
Second Word list: Bay, Ridge, Shores, Grove, Hills, Glen, Cove, Valley, Creek, Knolls, Harbor, Estates
There. I've covered just about 90 percent of the housing developments, apartment complexes and shopping centers in St. Mary's County. I think you have to pay the Commissioners "a little extra" if you go off the list.
Almost weekly, I have a convo with Pat that goes like this here:
John: "Where's the (backhoe/excavator/dozer/skidsteer/etc) going/getting picked up from today?"
Pat: "(Pick any two random entries from the list above)"
John: (long pause) "Where's that?"
Pat: "I'll drop you a pin."
Hours later
John: "And that, Officer, is how I ended up with THAT machine (one that doesn't belong to us) on my trailer."

Jethro, why not try a Mini-meet in your neck of the woods. Just start with a new post and see who responds.

Just a reminder that this is coming up next weekend. Exactly one week from this very moment (that I am typing this) I will be leaping into Charlie to head over there.
Hope to see a few of you there! We'll be parking with Photoboy (Erik) and Rover Dan.
