1965 c60 with corporate two speed Axle, Wondering if I need some type of special gear lube for the rear end? Just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss friction modifiers if it’s needed. Wondering what others run?

Any GL-5 80w-90 gear lube should work just fine for your truck, no additives needed for your 2-speed...

Reminder, do not use SAE-90 Mineral Oil in your rear, that's for the Transmission ONLY...

Thanks for the quick response Mike! I figured as much but wanted to be sure. Already have this apart once. Don’t plan on taking it apart again in my lifetime᠁.lets hope.

Agree on the 80w90. When I put new axle seals in my 62, I used 80w90 in the old Eaton diff 👍👍🇺🇸

1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original.
Some of this story is in the Side Lot
Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.
