Please see enclosed picture. The hole on the right side of the picture... to the left is the transmission cover opening, on the right is the battery cover... what is the purpose for the hole in between, the one just above the two horizontal protrusions? I tried to find it in the FAM but failed. FYI, this is a replacement floor. Many thanks.
Ber 2, Master cylinder access is the larger diameter hole on the left side of the transmission cover opening. His picture is looking up from underneath. He is asking abut the smaller hole in his picture to the right of the transmission cover opening before you get to the battery box cover. My 1951 3100 original cab floor does not have that hole either.

My truck doesn't have that hole, either. It does have that one you closed up in the center, directly above the driveshaft. I have no idea what that one is for.

I believe the center hole is a drain given that it is at the lowestpoint of the floor pan depressoin that can easily accumulate water if it enters the cab.

I closed up holes within the seat riser area (the drain hole and 1 other hole) because I have a Glide Engineering seat where the seat cushion opens up to yeild a good bit of storage under the seat. I thought that if I might use that storage space, then I should close the holes with welding, rather than a rubber plug.
