Mine are not usable anymore. Can't find replacement. Are star washers just as good? I would think so but just wondering what you all think or do. Thanks

Yes. Use those or a lock washer.

Use star washers with INTERNAL teeth. The external tooth type will allow oil to wick along the threads in the crankshaft hub and contaminate the clutch facings. A drop of blue Loctite on the threads will also help prevent oil leaks since the front of the threads are exposed to oil splash from the crankcase.

Ebay is faster, and less expensive.

39 cents. Had them in store. Don't think I could do much better than that.
