The pumps are the same, block mounting, lever arm, internally, and pressure-wise, IMHO.

But it will make pressure working it by hand. I am turning motor over by hand on engine stand but I would think it would make some kind of pressure.
Only other difference I noticed was 216 advertising 15 GPH were as 235 is 20 or 25 depending on pump number.
Napa gas a pump for a 216 on the shelf and its half the price of the 235 pump for a 57?

Gauge moved. Not much but pulsing. I'm going to go for it. I believe the range should be 2-4 psi. My fuel pump is 2.5psi at the carburetor.
