Yes sir, they are original, this truck was in a garage in Powhatan Va for approximately 30 years I stand corrected they are replacement tires from the late 80's

Cheapskate, Did you see Red's post? He's looking for same (tires) with the same year truck. Also, is this your truck in the Swap Meet; or it there another? I had been looking for a picture of your '50 and this was the only one I could find.

If you are good with bias-ply tires, Simple Tire has the Power King 6.50-16 in a load Range C (6 ply) at what I think is a reasonable price. That is what I dressed my '50 3100 in. They are a good looking tire, and are as close to the original as I could find--seems that no one is making the 6.00-16 anymore. They don't give a limousine ride, but what the hey, it isn't a limo anyway!
The closest size metric tire to the original would be 215/85 R16. Diamondback makes radial tires in the original bias ply size such as 650x16 and 700x16. www.dbtires.com
