I did a search, but couldn't find anything. anyhow, I have a 53" GMC just got it, the owner for some reason had removed the starter about 30 years ago, He gave it to me the other day. However the mounting bolts and nuts are all missing. Would anyone know what bolts and nuts I'll need. I tried searching the web for a possible bolt,nut kit but had no luck. klhansen Housekeeping (Moderator) Making a Stovebolt Bed & Paint and Body Shop Forums Joined: May 2015 Posts: 11,049 Eagle River, Alaska	If they're the same as a '51 Chevy 216, the stud on top of the starter mounting would be 1/2-13-20 x 1-5/8" (double ended=13-NC + 20-NF thread) and the bolt on the bottom would be 1/2-13 x 1-3/16" (NC thread).
