I am hitting cruise nights and local shows around So. NH. Swap meet at NE Dragway on June 30, and last Sunday of every month.
The y2camaro.com site has a good list for the northeast, especially Conn.

I'm in the Hudson Valley, New York and recently dragged my 1951 3100 out from under the trees and gave it a good wash. Last ran 10 years ago, so I'm optimistic to have it ticking soon. All original 1951 on a '48 frame.

Saratoga County Fairgrounds, Ballston Spa, NY

This is an enjoyable gathering that I went-to from 2004-2015 (we then moved to NC).

No judging, no/minimal entry cost. Big and small trucks.

Facebook

They used to also have antique farm equipment and working hit-or-miss engines.

Ecratrods- Haven't been in a couple years, used to be just ok. Like all swaps, need to go at sunrise to find the golden nuggets.

Hello all. My name is Luke. Just checking in from Connecticut. My current ride is a 1949 GMC 150. It’s basically all original except for wheels/tires and the 5.3 under the hood. Here is a pic from the goshen fairgrounds car show this past weekend.

Hello my name is Matt. Originally from SoCal but for the last 20+ here in Fairfield County, CT.

Just acquired my dream vehicle, a 1953 5 window 4 speed 3100 with a ‘59 235 engine upgrade.

I have enjoyed my short time on Stovebolt and look forward to much more of the same.

We just bought a 49 1 1/2 ton for our little farm for basically the same use as yours. Hay hauling, grain, gravel, & attention for the farm. Plus loving old trucks helps. I’ve missed my 65 step side since I wrecked it in 93.

Hi,
Picked up my 49 3600 last week and got it home to Rhode Island. It's mostly done but needs steering and brake work. I'd love to swap in a 4:10 rear chuck but I hear they're made from unobtainium. That and disc brakes but they won't fit with 15" rims.

Hi New Englanders᠁especially my Connecticut neighbors. I’m looking for any referrals to restoration shop that can help with me truck.l here in CT. I’m in western CT The body work needed is outside me expertise. My 64 K10 has seen too many winters and the rust is too much. I would like to keep her going but time and experience are not on my side. Any referrals are appreciated. Thanks john

Hello fellow bolters,

Wishing you a happy and healthy new year from Deer Park,NY. Long Island. Anyone know of any truck swap meets in our region? We have always been collectors of Chevy trucks . At present time have a 1965 C10 which needs restoration and a 1998 K3500 crew cab with utility body which was my husband's work truck. It suffered some front end damage and now we are adding to our parts list. Hoping to finish trucks soon and post the completed 65 in gallery. I have always loved this site. Everyone take care!

The Northeastern Bolters

From Greenwich to the North Pole -- From La Sarre to St. John's -- This is the Northeastern section of the Sidelot. You might not be able to get theyah from heyah, but you can get here from darn near anywhere ('long as you have a computer!). Stars and Stripes and Mapleleaves, English et Quebecoise -- Welcome and Bienvenue! New Englanders, Les Quebecois, Bluenosers, Newfies and the Maritimes unite!
<:> <:> <:> <:> <:> <:> <:> <:>

This is the current Side Lot description for the North Eastern Bolters. We were wondering if it needs to be a little less cryptic?? headscratch Was hoping for something like ODSS and others have. Plus, we had a hard time finding a decent map (see below - seems to busy).

You all need to weigh on on this, please. We can make it so ....

Snoyl, this is good enough. PA is on that map. There also is the Old Dominion Stovebolt Society, ODSS, that covers MD, VA, West VA, DC, DE and PA. Several fellows come down from PA for some of their bigger events. See what's going on there.
Hopefully, we'll hear more from the NE Bolters. It's early for them. Quiet bunch. LOL cantlook

Nice to meet ya homer, Lenox is 20 minutes south of me. Don't get to Honesdale much, no good way to get there from here. Mom always said she was gonna make it to 100, unfortunately she was 3 years short. Congrats to your mom and happy birthday to her

I'm over in Tioga ,CO Mansfield,PA. I'm 20 miles south of Corning,NY. I was in Vestal and Binghamton the weekend before last for my son's basketball tournament. I know Wayne and Susquehanna Counties Well. When I was a new trooper back in the early 90's Troop R was my first duty assignment so I spent some time at Gibson Station. I lived in Hamlin, just south of Honesdale then.

Wow. So this could be the Northern ODSS gang; or the Southern NE group. grin There is no border crisis here since there are no real border lines on Stovebolt. We'll not say: "Don't come." No, "Ya'll come!" is our mantra. wave We have a few PA fellas who come down to ODSS events. I see a caravan in the offing. thinking

I did a little work in here to the description. I had been looking for a map for this "group" and I came up with a few really funny ones. (Sent to John for his enjoyment, mostly. grin ) Most I found would require some cropping. Many were hard to read (blurry). Some had too much info with tiny print. Some very colorful but not Canada and USA together. (I found a great USA map in all this tho. thumbs_up ) So, whatcha got out there that covers "From Greenwich to the North Pole -- From La Sarre to St. John's -- " (as John has in the original description)? Help me here.

drive
