I just got it and want to know if it is rated at 2 and half ton or 5 ton or what. In the cab the plate says GVW 25000 if that helps.


My new 1949 Chevy One Ton Dump Truck. Still have it but parked, needs a new motor.

A '60-'66 80 series is a 3 ton. '60-63 70 series is a 2 1/2 ton. '64-'66 60H, is a 2 1/2 ton. I've owned several of these trucks.
