I have found a mid 90's International bus for cheap, good running 7.3L turbo-diesel with 150K on it, good brakes, yada yada yada.

How difficult will it be to pull the cab off of my 65 C60 and adapt it to the newer frame? Has this been done before?

shouldn't be too hard to adapt the body. the steering may be tricky. if the motor is a powerstroke the wiring may be a nightmare.

Most of the big truck frame are strait beams set 34" apart so that makes things a little easier for swaps. However the front axles on the older trucks are narrow the 60 to 66s don't seen as bad as the 59 and easier here but you will want to check. Steering box location is another issue you will want to look closely at. The best thing you could do is get the two trucks side buy side and go to work with a creeper and a tape you will need to spend a lot of time staring and comparing.

Thanks for the input guys, I was hoping someone out there had a little more of a definate yes or no. I would hate to buy this bus and commit to it and it end up not working out. One other cool thing about the bus is the frame and wheelbase is considerably longer than my C60, so my rollback plans would get me a longer flat bed, or retain a 16-18ft rollback and make a sleeper/crew cab for it.

With enough time and money anything can be done. It sure isn't going to b a bolt together swap. At the very least some fabricating new body mounts, steering column connections, pedal and shifter linkages. Everything else will be either a Chevrolet part or International? part. Also might have core support issues I'm sure the International has a much larger radiator. Front axle width, make sure the tires will fit under the Chevrolet fenders, and the engine under the Chevrolet hood.
