Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 33 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 33 | What appears to be a Dana 70 in my truck seems to have the BOM 603491 2, but I do not get a hit on that BOM from the Dana page. Does anyone know what it might be? The date code may be 4 1 5B2 (still pretty hard to read after cleaning). | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 113 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 113 | markk,
What year and model of truck are we talking about? This information would make it much easier for others to assist you.

Since I posted this, I've gotten some feedback from one vendor that seemed to know what he was talking about, indicating it came from a '73 - '75 International. His statment that it has a Powr-lok with 4.10 gears is consistent with what I see by spinning the wheels, counting driveshaft revolutions. | | |
