Working on a friends 65 C10 to replace the fuel gauge and fix some sins that were committed by previous owners and found this switch of some type but not sure what it is for.

Thoughts?

Add-on 4-way emergency flasher would be my guess.

According to the patent number, it's a turn signal device with 4-way flasher capability. Might only be part of the system.

Thanks folks. I left it there, he had the typical add on blinkers with flasher knob so this is odd but I’ll perhaps look at it closer at a other time
