I have been looking on here and surfing the net. I find the thicker stuff ,but not the half inch. Can anyone steer me to where I can find it ?
I have the thicker on my 62 C10 and the doors are hard to shut. Luckily I can put it on my 76 C10 thats missing the pass door stripping.
1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original. Some of this story is in the Side Lot Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.
If I zoom in on this one it is definitely thinner.

Call the Filling Station and ask them about it. They'd probably be happy to measure it for you.

It is definitely smaller than the current one I have now, so if there is only 2 options then thats it.

Called and confirmed the correct ones and they are on their way . ðŸ‘ðŸ‘.. Sure will be nice for the doors to shut easily.. As of yesterday this truck is now my daily driver.

Finally got the thick off and put on the new weatherstripping from the Filling Station. It is thinner for sure and made the doors a little easier to shut, but I still have to practically slam them. Im hoping it will relax a little after being compressed. . I do believe Im gonna have to adjust my door depth at the hinges. When I shut the door with the window down, I can peek in and see its pinching it some ,instead of resting against it all the way around. When I get a chance to do that I will report back ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

I had to adjust my door depth on both doors with this weatherstrip. I thought it would be considerably thinner, but it is just barely easier. I sure hope it will relax some. One thing about it though. It seals out the water and wind ðŸ‘👠Now I can trim around my doors and jams for that nice clean look. Then I can get my kick panels made and put in.

Pics 1 & 3 look gr8 . 2nd pic is the lower front driverside where its compressed a good bit more. Before I adjusted the hinge depth, it was pinched forward on that lower part.
I am happy with the product The Filling Station provided. Shipping was fair and arrived in just a few days ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
