So I purchased a 235 that checks out to be a 1958 model. Trying to find clutch and pressure plate. Clutch disc measurement is 11" pressure plate has 9 mounting holes. Not having much luck. Found where it was an option from 55-62 but flaps has no listings. What vehicle do I need to look for. Thanks
Thanks George. It looks recently put in just curious why it's so odd? Thinking I'll go with more common set up just threw me off. I have enough unicorns in this truck already.
I have an 11 inch pressure plate (removed from a totaled 1954 Corvette), a disc for it and a matching pressure plate. Best combination I've seen in a long time. I also have a couple of smaller pressure plates but if you have 11" I'd get the flywheel resurfaced professionally and I'd use it.

Offhand I can't remember. Something in the back of my mind is saying it was 6 bolt. I know the smaller diameter ones were 6...just not certain about the 11 inch. The disc and pressure plate were LUK products...I had to get a different spline count for the T5.

IDK if this helps or not ,but my 57 235 before I got it rolling. Ram 10.5 clutch 92761 with a 10spline clutch disc RAM OEM Replacement Clutch Discs D4187 I used a bronze bushing instead of the bearing pictured. Maybe look for a new flywheel thats more compatible.

I got my clutch for my 54 from a local shop ,it was hard for them to get but I think I found rock auto had them also ,Not even sure if mine is 11 inch as it was a while ago I got it but I will look as the box is still there with the old one .Here is rock autos
I guess the heavy duty clutch from the year is the 9 bolt .The ones I see a rock auto are 6 bolt .chev of the 40;s but big bucks
That's why I'm thinking I'll go with the smaller clutch set up from my other motor. Seems like a unicorn to me. Maybe someone else will need it. I wont get rid of it just because I keep everything!
I have the 9-bolt clutch in my 1-ton. It has a 9-hole, 6V flywheel.
When I had it all apart a year ago last summer I went looking for a 6 hole flywheel, which, unless I found a 54 flywheel, meant changing the starter too. I ordered a flywheel listed for a 55-62 Chev I6 from Summit Racing. Rock Auto's listings were too confusing. What came in the shipment was for a V8. I sent it back and had my existing flywheel resurfaced. The machinist suggested that if I wanted the 6-bolt clutch, "Just redrill the flywheel for that clutch." I put the 9-bolt back in as it was in good shape. I'd had it rebuilt about 2 years before. All is well.

I have the 9 - bolt clutch on my 47 3600. The 9 - bolt is the heavy-duty clutch. I re-surfaced my flywheel and the pressure plate myself on my Bridgeport rotary table and a cupped stone in the spindle. I do disc brakes the same way. I bought a new clutch disc for my truck. It works perfectly. I'll never wear it out in my lifetime. I would not hesitate to use your 9 - bolt clutch.
