1953 GMC 228. Looking for a good electrical shop recommendation for the Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City NV area. Converted to 12V. lots of wiring hanging below dash and needs to be put in place. Ammeter does not appear to work and fuel gauge is unreliable. Need first hand references for a shop that will do a good job and not take me to the cleaners. Thanks.

If it is a mess like it sounds, there is a decent chance that any shop you find is going to insist on pulling what you have out and doing it over correctly.

Even if they don't, that still might be the lowest effort (thus cost) solution.

Are you interested in trying to do the work yourself?

A bit beyond my capabilities, crawling under the dash and all. Thanks for the input, remove and replace is an option.
